Book990 is a preparation and organization tool. It helps you compile your Form 990 data. It does not file with the IRS on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for making sure your return gets filed. We keep your data secure and we will never sell it.

Book990 is a data preparation and organization tool designed to help nonprofit organizations and their staff compile information needed to complete IRS Form 990, Form 990-EZ, or Form 990-N.
Book990 does not:
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your return data, filing your return by the applicable deadline, and ensuring your organization meets all IRS requirements.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Book990, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Book990 is offered on a subscription basis. Plan details, pricing, and features are described at bookbalance.io/book990-pricing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected) until you cancel.
You own all data you enter into Book990. We do not claim any ownership of your organization's financial data, return information, or any content you submit.
By using Book990, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of your data. Upon cancellation, you may export your data. We retain data for 90 days after account closure before permanent deletion, unless required to retain it longer by law.

Book990 is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Book990 is error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculations or compliance checks it produces are accurate or sufficient to meet IRS requirements. You should have your return reviewed by a qualified tax professional before filing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookBalance and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, penalties assessed by the IRS, or fines arising from a late or incorrect filing, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Book990 shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BookBalance, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, demand, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Book990, your violation of these terms, or the data you submit to the platform.
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising Book990 are the property of BookBalance.io or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you by email and by posting the updated terms with a new effective date. Your continued use of Book990 after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of Book990 at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BookBalance regarding Book990 and supersede any prior agreements.
