No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
Book990 stores financial figures and organizational details that you enter for the purpose of preparing a Form 990. This data is treated as sensitive. We do not display, analyze, share, or monetize your organization's financial data outside of rendering it back to you within the application.
We do not access or review your return data except to resolve a support request you have initiated, or as required by law.

Book990 uses session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools such as Google Analytics on the Book990 application itself.
The BookBalance.io marketing website may use analytics tools to measure page traffic. These tools do not have access to your Book990 account data.
Book990 is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
Book990 may link to external resources such as IRS publications or tax filing platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting the updated policy with a new effective date. Your continued use of Book990 after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
